Growth is an upward spiral. As one of my good friends and life coach explained, perfection is an invitation to fail because it’s not truly attainable. Continuous growth and improvement; always striving to be better than you were the day before; true mastery … IS attainable.

I fell apart with our Business Coach a couple weeks ago. It’s where I was. There are so many changes happening in my life… so much release.

This journey actually started back at the end of June. I was sitting in my office stuck in a bad place and it was time for change so I reached out to the one person I knew would be able to knock through the wall. That weekend I spent intensive day session – 8 hours – with my good friend Jen Zoë of Zenerjen.

That day and the book she “prescribed” for me to read, opened my eyes to patterns I have been hanging onto that aren’t serving me. Since then my life has been on a new trajectory that has included so many aspects of change …personally and professionally.

Now I’m in the middle of some huge changes with the business I own with the help of scale2x.com.

I’m having to take pauses to allow myself time to process the changes while also pushing into places that are good yet uncomfortable because they are new.

I am the type to push through the hard stuff and get to the other side. Though these last 30 days I think have been some of the most challenging.

In the Book, the Big leap Hendrikcs states that as you expand into increasing feelings of contentment you will get pushback from your mind. That’s normal and you have to keep expanding more and more until contentment is more your norm than the negative emotions. This is not an easy or overnight task yet it is attainable.

It’s people that God has carefully placed in my life like my coaches, friends, and pastors who have brought up questions that are helping to break those boundaries.

I might push back initially but the questions that get asked often permeate my thoughts and cause me to dig beyond the surface to grow.

I am always reminding myself that change is necessary and it is not always without pain. Releasing old habits that no longer serve us is sometimes feels like cutting off a part of you but if you don’t the rest will die so it’s imperative to do. Recognizing there is pain in the process I must allow myself to feel that and then get up, push on seeing the light of hope, abundance and prosperity ahead. Seeing that all the “pruning” will yield greater results. It’s not only releasing the things that no longer serve you… it’s also walking into and fully receiving the good stuff and the ideas and people that better serve our journey. At first it’s unfamiliar so it is easy to go backwards into the comfortable place after gaining that freedom and release. After gaining that freedom, we have to choose every day to continue to release and continue to walk forward not looking back except to acknowledge what we have learned; it’s a retraining of our minds; it’s expanding into that good place until it’s more familiar and comfortable than the old stuff.

My husband is my biggest supporter through this process and it’s his love that encourages me in the pain and joy of change.

Blu Dove Designs is my baby… I started it 15 years ago and Natalie joined me 9-1/2 years ago. It’s time my “baby” grew up into a full-fledged business.

This post is me speaking from my heart; I’m not a sponsor or paid influencer. I am happy to share my resources for those who are hungry for change in order that I may help another is this crazy life journey….

Jen Zoë Hall is the founder of Zenerjen, a place for finding your truth through the power of horses guided by an amazing woman! She is so talented at helping guide people to that place of truth, release and healing.

Brandon and Austin are Business coaches with scale2x.com where Austin Netzley is the founder. They are dig into the details and the 2X system is already helping us achieve success 30 days into the program.

The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks is a life changing book if you truly take the time to dive into the questions. I chose to journal along the way and found better results than an audible or just simply reading it cover to cover.

I wish you joy on your journey. Heres to releasing old stuff and greater growth in 2019.
