Laying here with my handsome pup, Dakota. He may be 14 but he will always be my puppy. His love for me and mine for him is immeasurable. He’s been through a great many of life’s twists and turns. Through it all he’s been a shining star. He’s getting older now 
and not able to do the things he once did as well as he would like. He’s stubborn and wants to think he’s still a young pup. He’s had the beginnings of congestive heart failure and doing very well on his meds. I know I can’t keep him on this earth forever tho I sure wish I could. I hope he still has some years in him

I feel pretty blessed to have been able to be his momma and to still have time to share with him. We are making the most of every day. 💗
