Back in January I was invited to a Paparazzi® jewelry party on Facebook my a friend of mine. I had never heard of Paparazzi® so I checked it out. I ordered a few pieces just to see what it was like – after all, how can you go wrong with only spending $5 each plus tax and shipping? I wasn’t sure what to expect from $5 jewelry…to be honest I didn’t expect it to be as beautiful and nice as it is.

My first Paparazzi piece!

I received my order and was stunned at how beautiful the pieces were. (My first piece is shown to the right). Even more surprising was that all of the necklaces came with matching earrings!!  I didn’t order any earrings because of my sensitive ears but since they came with the necklaces I ordered it was a nice bonus. I had learned that the earrings were nickel and lead free (2 metals that cause the most reactions), and decided I would give it a try. They were the first earrings I had been able to wear since I had my daughter!

fabulousAnd when I put it on… I felt glamorous!! I was hooked! This stuff is beautiful AND it fits in my budget so I don’t have to feel guilty. Plus at that price, if my daughter accidentally gets a hold of it and breaks it, it won’t be nearly as devastating as something expensive.

I attended another party – bought more jewelry and my husband didn’t mind me spending the money because of how much I was getting for the little I was spending! Even he was surprised at how nice it looks. Everything I’ve bought from the company whether it was for myself or for others has been more than I expected. Some looks like it should be much more expensive than $5!

After a couple orders and realizing this was going to be an ongoing “habit”, I started wondering – “how could I get it for less and sell it myself?” I had been looking for something to compliment my day job (as Graphic Designer) that would allow me to earn some extra money while not taking too much time away from my family or my existing business. It also had to be something I enjoyed! I checked out the plan with the woman who hosted the party and everything sounded easy, fun and totally workable in my schedule. AND it was super easy to get started and no sales pitch to give at parties!!

I had finally found my perfect fit!

So on March 15, 2015 I officially became a Paparazzi® Sales Consultant and am on my way to making some extra money to pay down those debts!
