I really love creating handmade crafts. It’s a nice compliment to what I do on the computer for Blu Dove Designs. As we were picking up a few things around the house and helping my mom pack, I ran across a ball of yarn from a project my mom had worked on this past week.
As I walked it over to her I was curiously looking at the ball of yarn …”so how exactly do you crochet?” I asked her. “Really?” She said “you want to learn?”
“Yeah! Why not?”
We sat together as she showed me how to start, a basic stitch and next thing we knew I was working on my 4th kind of stitch!! 😎😯 My determined nature just wouldn’t let me quit and as she mentioned other types of stitches I was eager to learn…especially since she was leaving to return to Arizona the next morning.
So in one night the photo above is the result 🙂
I learned single, double, half double and triple stitches.
The hardest part is learning how to hold the yarn…
