Hi! I’m Lisa and welcome to Daisies & Dirt or DaisieNDirt for short! I am an artist, mom, business owner and writer. Some of my other articles can be seen in the Business Magazine of Florida. and on my business blog at Blu Dove Designs.

When it came to deciding what the niche of this website should be I truly couldn’t narrow it down to only one category.  I have a passion for a lot of things: God, my family, writing, animals, music, nature, saving money, keeping healthy, dressing on a budget, education and my country. I’m inspired by different things at different times so I wanted to leave my options open.

I am happily married 12 years and we have a 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son. We live with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 horses. Its a full house (and pasture) and always an adventure!

I love to dress to the nines or put my boots on, roll up my sleeves and get dirty. As a mom, I wear applesauce pretty well. I have recently discovered that I love painting with my hands too!

This site is an outlet to share the pretty, the fun, and the dirt on this journey called life. We all know that life has it’s ups and downs and is never 100% smooth sailing. However I hope that this site will take some of the pressure off of those you who are trying to be “perfectionists” and help you let go a little or a lot.
